FarmaGuardia: Find Nearby Pharmacies with Ease
FarmaGuardia is an iPhone app developed by Gonzalo Ruiz Manzanares that allows users to quickly and easily find the nearest pharmacies. Whether you're looking for pharmacies on duty or simply want to locate nearby pharmacies, FarmaGuardia has got you covered.
The app is designed to be simple and intuitive, providing all the necessary information about each pharmacy at a glance. Users can easily view the address, opening hours, and phone number of each pharmacy. With just a single tap, users can call the pharmacy directly or get directions from their current location. The app also displays the distance from the user's position to the pharmacy.
To use FarmaGuardia, GPS and internet connection are required. Please note that the app only works for locations within Spain.
Currently, the app provides information about pharmacies throughout Spain, with the exception of Cáceres, Granada, Jaén, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Segovia, and Valencia (outside the capital). The information for these provinces is published in PDF format, making it challenging to extract. However, the developer is actively working on incorporating them into the app.
